TOHVA Mission Statement
The Tennessee Off-Highway Vehicle Association (TOHVA) is a statewide coalition of off-highway vehicle enthusiasts, organizations, businesses, and land owners that will work to create a statewide system of environmentally sustainable, motorized multi-use trails and areas.

TOHVA Vision Statement
Off-highway vehicle enthusiasts enjoy public support for their recreation activities and volunteer efforts. Outstanding recreation opportunities for off-highway motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and four-wheel drive vehicles are readily available throughout the state for the present and future generations.

TOHVA Value Statement
TOHVA will develop and promote safety, education, and responsible off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreational opportunities; create a positive public image; preserve the activity for today and for future generations, fostering an appreciation of our natural resources for youth.

OHV Definition
Off-highway vehicle is defined as All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), Off-Highway Motorcycle (OHM), and full-size four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicles intended for recreational use.

 

 

Tennessee Off-Highway Vehicle Association (TOHVA) consist of a group of avid recreational land users who have a passion for our sport. Our sole purpose as an organization is to protect your right to use established trails and acquire access to more of the beautiful land that Tennessee has to offer. We are committed to this difficult challenge and propose to achieve our goals by educating promoting and working hand in hand with our state officials and you.

It is important that we not only educate and promote our sport to law makers, but also to the general public. We have not had a desirable reputation as a group for years. Although, this is a false misconception by people not understanding fully.  Now is the time to turn that around and show the State of Tennessee who we are and what we stand for. Through education, participation in charitable activities, work projects, fund raisers for good causes, etc. can we show the public the family focused respectful, fun loving people we are. TOHVA is here to educate you on these topics as well as how to better manage our trails and make them safer for all to enjoy. We all have to work together to provide Tennesseans with the best trail system possible.
 

Other state have been successful with this cause.  The OHV users represent a large part of the residents of Tennessee.  TOHVA along with OHV4TN plans on making this happen for us as well as our youth.  Others have been successful and so can we, but the time is NOW!!!!    We need your help and support to make this happen.  We need to make a difference and maintain a level playing field in the debate over land use.  

Please consider joining us in our very urgent cause to provide permanent recreation areas for generations to come. Can you imagine your life without the fun, adventurous, and fulfilling experiences you've had that only our sport has to offer ? Help us keep that option available to our children and their children.
